TCI-PD-80-RADLHB-HD

Hig Def Rear Access Projection Cube
Dual Lamp, High Bright

80″ Monitor

1400 x 1050 Resolution

Overview

The rear access TCI-PD-80-RADLHB-HD Projection Cube with ultra sharp SXGA+ resolution is the solution when your control room has behind-the-wall service space. Advanced built-in features automatically maintain crystal clear imagery, balanced color and consistent brightness across the entire video wall and make the 80″ display cube a cost-effective, low-maintenance workhorse for your mission critical applications.

Intelligent SXGA+ LED Projection Cube Features

Perfect for continuous operation, SXGA+ projection cubes incorporate intelligent features that maintain uniform image quality across your video wall. The Smart Lamp detects when a cube lamp is reaching the end of its service life and immediately pre-heats the second lamp and switches to the new lamp in less than one second. Color Space Control adjusts color and brilliance to blend with the entire wall while the Digital Gradation Circuit maintains uniform brightness and crisp, vibrant images.

Flexibility

Three optional input ports give you options, so you can configure your SXGA+ projection cubes to suit your needs. If you want to upgrade from XGA to SXGA+, the process is quick, easy, and cost-effective with minimal downtime. No matter which resolution, the two lines share common cabinets, mirrors and screens and are powered by Texas Instrument DLP® Technology so switch-out is practically effortless.

Internal Processing

Internal data processing allows you to configure up to six windows per cube and windows can be stretched across the video wall, so you may not need an external image processor for your installation. Multiple windows can be moved freely and you can control the entire system with an intuitive graphical user interface using Mitsubishi D-Wall Software.

Auto-balancing

Each TCI-PD-80-RADLHB-HD Projection Cube features primary color sensors that continually monitor output, share the data with adjacent cubes, and automatically adjust overall video wall performance. You experience consistent balanced color and brightness, without the need for external sensors, PC’s, or user intervention.

Easy Set-up

An optional motorized fine-tuning device installed in each cube simplifies mechanical adjustments. Mitsubishi Auto-Geometry automatically aligns on-screen imaging using a camera and machine-vision software. This enables automatic six-axis mechanical modification as well as mirror and screen adjustment. Mitsubishi Wallaby Software is also available if you want automatic color alteration.

Durability

The TCI-PD-80-RADLHB-HD Projection Cube has a service life of more than eleven years, almost double the life of display cubes from other manufacturers. The color wheel system, fan pack, and other moving are rated at over 100,000 hours of continuous operation.

Redundancy

SXGA+ projection cubes deliver the signal redundancy you need for mission critical, continuous operation. If a signal is unexpectedly lost, the cube automatically switches to an alternative signal source in a matter of seconds, minimizing your downtime and saving you time and money.

Benefits

Dynamic Brightness Balancing Each Mitsubishi display wall cube is equipped with a built-in brightness sensor (brightness is measured every 2 seconds). The Dynamic Brightness Balancing™ circuit then communicates the measured brightness data between all cubes and automatically performs the necessary adjustments to maintain optimum brightness uniformity across the entire display wall.
Color Space Control Mitsubishi developed the powerful Color Space Control feature, a digital color balancing and blending circuit that compensates for color and brightness differences among all of the cubes in a multi-unit configuration.
Smart Lamp Mitsubishi’s exclusive Smart Lamp™ Module in each display wall cube stores its own color characteristics. This data is the utilized when replacing the lamp in one or more cubes within the display wall. Upon replacement, the cube with the new lamp automatically communicates that lamp’s data with all other cubes and performs the Color Space Control adjustment to rebalance the entire display wall, saving time and reducing maintenance costs.
Smart Color Wheel Mitsubishi’s exclusive Smart Colorwheel™ Module in each display wall cube stores its own color characteristics. This data is then utilized when replacing the colorwheel in one or more cubes within the display wall. Upon replacement, the cube with the new colorwheel automatically communicates that colorwheel’s data with all other cubes and performs the Color Space Control adjustment to rebalance the entire display wall, saving time and reducing maintenance costs.
12 Bit Dither & Gamma Circuit Developed by Mitsubishi, the 12-bit Dither & Gamma Circuit enables the display of truly natural gradation (gray scale) by accurately rendering both bright and dark areas for precise half-tone images. This circuit also processes frame (time axis) direction to ensure smoother gradation and optimum color fidelity for all images.
Digital Gradation Circuit Mitsubishi’s proprietary Digital Gradation Circuit can elevate the brightness level at the edges of the screen–where brightness usually fades, in order to ensure the optimum brightness distribution and uniformity over multi-screen tiled configurations.
High Contrast Ratio The combination of Mitsubishi’s original high quality new optical system, super high-contrast screen and 12-degree DLP® chip (with dark metal coating), allow the Mitsubishi Display Wall Cubes to deliver an outstanding contrast ratio of 1600:1 (XGA models) or 1800:1 (SXGA+ models), and reproduce sharp, brilliant images with rich, vibrant colors.
